Why do I want to be a Clark Regional Wastewater District Commissioner

Service to the community has been an important part of my life. Retirement is on the horizon and now I look forward to the next chapter of my life. I am a life learner – from Tidewater Barge Lines to Fire District 6 to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center – I have enjoyed working and learning about each industry.

Through my community service, I have become acquainted with John Peterson, manager of Clark Regional Wastewater, as well as the current Board of Commissioners. I was always impressed with their commitment to the District and the community. Their long years of dedicated service to CRWWD was an inspiration. My father-in-law, Bill Lothspeich, was also a commissioner for the District and was proud of his involvement with CRWWD for many years.

My husband, Brad Lothspeich, has demonstrated what service to the community looks like. He has spent a lifetime serving on various boards and volunteering in many ways – including the last 14 years as a Fire District 6 Commissioner.

Current Commissioner, Neil Kimsey, is proud of the organization he serves and the work they do. When he told me he was considering retirement from the commission, I decided to start attending the public meetings to see if this new level of community service and the wastewater district could be my next step after retirement. I have enjoyed learning about the CRWWD operations, collaborations, employees and customer service. It is an organization I would be proud to be a part of, while serving my community.

Please support me for Clark Regional Wastewater Commissioner Position 1 at the general election this November. Thank you.
